RESTORATION SERVICES
Our work is to regain the authenticity, reliablity, style and performance of your Classic Mercedes-Benz. We use genuine Mercedes-Benz and AMG Parts, original AMG technical manuals and specifications, and tried-and-true techniques, combinded with state-of-the-art equipment, from 5 Axis CNC machines to 3-D printing. All work is carried out by our dedicated team of Classics Techs in accordance with our standards for the highest quality for preserving the genuine character of the vehicle and its performance. With any complete restoration, you will receive a certificate, as well as documentation of the work carried out on your vehicle. We currently offer partial vehicle restoration, or engine and/or transmission restoration. Below, are the individual steps throughout a complete restoration as an example. We look forward to getting to know you and work on you classic Mercedes-Benz, Pre-Merger AMG, or classic RENNtech vehicle.

Utilizing CAD, 3-D scanning and printing, RENNtech's Design department is able to create and execute designs based on customer's wishes built around RENNtech's Performance first -engineering.

Combining modern power with vintage chassis requires careful planning and execution. We have experience in matching modern Mercedes-Benz powertrains to early chassis models, along with new engine electronics, transmissions.

AMG Performance Engine Builds

To ensure everyday reliablity, the function of and condition of the engine and transmission is carefully checked. Defictive parts are replaced with genuine parts or new improved parts based on the original drawings. Original measurement values specified by Mercedes-Benz and AMG are used as the baseline for the engine settings. Once compmleted the engine and transmission performance is measured during test run on our in-house Dynamometer.

The Legendary 300 E that passed 300 km/h
A frame up restoration by RENNtech of the legendary Hammer was completed in 2020. The 300E 6.0 was an integral part of Hartmut Feyhl's career at AMG in Affalterbach AMG North America. We continue to build and re-power these incredible machines with the same precision that made the world take notice over four decades ago.

This Japanese market SEC 560 6.0 AMG Widebody received a full frame up restoration. The 32 -valve M117, to drivetrain, exterior, and interior were brought back to as new, making this black beauty a true head-turner.
